Q: Do I need reservations to rent a lane?
No, no reservations are required but if you are bringing a group of 6 or more, advanced notice is appreciated.
Q: Do I need to reserve a seat in a course or can I just show up at the course?
Because courses frequently sell out, we require reservations and payment for course seats prior to the course date and time.
Q: Do you have a gunsmith?
Although we do have the ability to change out some parts like installation of open sights, lights, lasers, grips, and red dot sights, we do not have an on-staff gunsmith to diagnose function issues, install or alter the mechanics or function of firearms.
Q: For a Family Membership, what constitutes a “Family”?
The Family Membership covers up to 4 individuals of the same immediate family all living at the same residence.
Range Usage
Q: Is there a minimum age to shoot on the range?
Age requirements are (13) years of age, if accompanied by a person at least twenty-one (21) years of age or older. Members with an active military identification shall be exempt from the minimum age requirement of twenty-one (21).
Q: How many people can share one firing lane?
At most, three people are allowed per lane.

Q: Missouri is a constitutional carry state meaning I do not have to have a concealed carry permit, is there any reason to get one even if it isn’t required?
Yes, there are SUBSTANTIAL benefits to getting a Concealed Carry Permit.
- Reciprocity: Missouri’s permit is recognized by 36 other states
- Knowledge: Training covers state specific use of force guidelines, regulations, rights, responsibilities and legal boundaries.
- Access: In some cases, permits allow for carry that constitutional carry does not.
- Legal: Violations of permitted carry are infractions, violations of constitutional carry are criminal violations and can be Unlawful Use of Weapons.
- Law Enforcement Contacts: Having a permit may streamline contacts with police.
Q: What are Missouri’s requirements for obtaining a Certificate of Qualification?
- Be at least 19 years of age, 18 in the military
- Be a citizen of the United States, a Missouri resident or stationed in Missouri
- Not have been found guilty of any felony offense.
- Not have been found guilty in the five years preceding the application, of a misdemeanor involving a crime of violence or two misdemeanors involving either alcohol related driving offenses or possession of a controlled substance.
- Not be a fugitive from justice.
- Not currently be charged with a felony offense.
- Not be dishonorably discharged from the armed forces.
- Not have engaged in a pattern of behavior, documented in public record, that causes the sheriff to have reasonable belief that the applicant presents a danger to themselves or others.
- Not have been adjudged mentally incompetent or released from a mental health facility for five years prior to the application.
- Not be the respondent in a valid full order of protection currently in effect.
- Be fingerprinted & clear a criminal background check by the State and Federal Bureau of Investigation.
- Comply with the training requirements of the bill.
Q: What is the live fire qualification criteria?
The B-27 silhouette target is distanced at seven (7) yards. There will be a total of 50 rounds fired – thirty (30) practice rounds and twenty (20) qualification rounds. A minimum of 15 of the 20 rounds must be in the silhouette of the B27 to qualify.

Q: Do I have to own a firearm before taking the concealed carry course?
No. Ultimate Defense has an add-on package for $30 that supplies you a firearm, the required ammunition and eye and hearing protection.
Q: Can I choose to bring my own gun to the concealed carry course?
Yes. We encourage you to shoot whatever you are most comfortable with regardless of caliber. You will have to bring 50 rounds of ammunition and any extra magazines you have available.
Note: no loaded firearms are allowed in the lecture portion of the building.
Q: Do I have to exclusively carry the weapon I bring to the concealed carry course?
You may carry any concealable weapon that is in your legal possession. The law states that if you are legal to be in possession of the weapon, it is legal to carry it as your concealed carry weapon.
Q: Where else is my Missouri Concealed Carry endorsement valid?
A map and a list showing which states recognize Missouri concealed-carry endorsements can be found at the Missouri Attorney General’s website.
Weapons laws in different states can and do have different definitions and restrictions. Because of those differences, Missourians who have CCW endorsements and are planning to carry concealed weapons while traveling in and through the states that now recognize Missouri endorsements may still want to contact law enforcement authorities in those states to clarify any specific questions.
