We value our customers and want you to be informed before making a purchase. All sales are subject to the following terms and management discretion.

- Returns accepted within 30 calendar days with receipt.
- Items must be unused and in original condition.
- All returns are subject to inspection, approval, and management discretion.
- Approved returns may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 30%.
- Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment.
Classes & Training
- Class tuition is NON-REFUNDABLE.
- Courses may be rescheduled one (1) time for the same course if requested at least 24 hours prior to the start time.
- Cancellations, late requests, or no-shows are forfeited.
Additional Terms
Buyer is responsible for verifying legality of firearm ownership prior to purchase.
Failure to pass a background check, FFL refusal, or buyer error does not qualify for a return or refund.
abandoned property policy
To ensure safe, secure, and compliant operations, Ultimate Defense maintains the following policy regarding unclaimed or abandoned property, including firearms.
This policy applies to all personal property left at or transferred into Ultimate Defense, including but not limited to firearms, accessories, cases, magazines, equipment, and other merchandise.
1. Property covered
This policy applies to property that is:
- Transferred into our store for customer pickup (including online or GunBroker purchases),
- Left for service, repair, transfer, storage, or evaluation, or
- Otherwise left in our possession for customer retrieval.
2. Notification & Pickup
- Customers will be notified when their property is ready for pickup using the contact information provided at the time of transfer or service.
- Notification attempts may include phone calls, emails, and/or written notice.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to maintain accurate contact information and retrieve their property in a timely manner.
3. retention period
- Property must be claimed within 90 days from the date the item is ready for pickup.
- During this period, the property will be securely stored and accessible only to authorized staff.
- Storage, handling, or administrative fees may apply during the retention period.
4. proof of ownership
To retrieve property, the owner must present:
- Valid government-issued photo identification, and
- Proof of ownership or transaction (receipt, invoice, transfer paperwork, etc.).
- Firearms remain subject to all applicable background check and transfer requirements at the time of pickup.
5. abandonment
If property remains unclaimed after the 90-day retention period and reasonable notification attempts have been made:
- The property will be considered abandoned to the extent permitted by law.
- The customer forfeits any claim of ownership, possession, or compensation.
6. Disposal of Abandoned property
Once property is deemed abandoned, Ultimate Defense may, at its sole discretion and in compliance with applicable law:
- Transfer the property through a licensed dealer,
- Sell the property,
- Transfer the property to law enforcement,
- Destroy the property, or
- Otherwise lawfully dispose of the property.
For firearms, all disposition will be conducted in accordance with federal and Missouri law.
7. fees & liens
- Any applicable storage, handling, transfer, or administrative fees may be assessed.
- Fees may be deducted from proceeds if the property is sold or otherwise disposed of.
- Ultimate Defense is not required to remit any surplus proceeds to the former owner unless required by law.
8. liability
Ultimate Defense assumes no liability for loss, damage, or claims related to abandoned property once the abandonment process has been completed.
9. no exceptions
Failure to pass a background check, delays in obtaining documentation, indecision, or lack of communication do not extend the retention period.
