Our Youth Handgun Safety Course is designed for young enthusiasts aged 9 to 16. This comprehensive program focuses on firearm safety, responsible handling, and basic marksmanship. Under the guidance of certified instructors, participants will learn proper grip, stance, and aiming techniques in a controlled and supportive environment. The course includes both classroom instruction and hands-on practice, emphasizing the importance of respect and responsibility when handling firearms. Whether your child is a beginner or has some experience, this course aims to build confidence and skills in a safe, fun, and educational setting. This is a 2-hour course that includes shooting

 * 9 to 16 years of age
*  48 inches tall
*  Possess a level of maturity for handling live firearms and being in a class environment.

This LADIES ONLY class is a guided experience that provides you the opportunity to learn how to shoot without any pressure or stress. Our instructors understand that everyone operates at different comfort levels around firearms and will work with you to help you feel relaxed and comfortable as you gain experience. This course covers the 4 major rules of gun safety, gun safety in the home, gun safety at the range and proper shooting technique (grip, stance, posture). *Note:  This is the same course content as First Steps, but this course is designed to be a more relaxed, fun atmosphere for the ladies. Firearms shot will be a Ruger 22 Mark IV, 5 rounds with a Full-Frame 9mm handgun, and 5 rounds with a Sub-Compact 9mm handgun.  Ammunition, targets, eye & ear protection are provided.  Class size is limited to 16 participants.  Age Requirement: 13 years and older (13-20 must be accompanied by an adult 21 and over). Classes are NON-REFUNDABLE; however, you may exchange for another class of the same type on a different date if something comes up.

We will start in the classroom for lesson and discuss skills for the Course of Fire.  Plan to arrive a few minutes early to check in and sign your waivers

• Age Requirements: 18 Years and Older
• Prerequisite: None
• Ammunition: At least 50 rounds (recommend 100 if participating in Pistol Marksmanship)
• Equipment: Bring your pistol, eye and ear protection (all in a suitable range bag) and closed toed shoes.
• Do not handle any firearms until instructed to do so and firearms are to be in COLD (unloaded) condition, with slide locked open or a chamber flag in place.
• Class tuition is NON-REFUNDABLE. Courses can be rescheduled one time up to 24 hours prior to the course start time. Cancellations within the 24 hours of the start time are no longer eligible to be rescheduled and are forfeited. Thank you for understanding that our class spots are limited and valuable.

FIREARMS TRAINING TO TAKE YOU TO THE NEXT LEVEL

Requirements: A reliable handgun, three (3) magazines, waistband holster, 300 rounds of ammo

Course Description: Defensive Handgun is taught by active duty SWAT officers that will elevate your skills with a handgun immeasurably. Learn drills that you can practice that will make you faster and more accurate as well as the most efficient techniques for weapons handling. Tactical Reloading Clearing Malfunction Proper Draw Shooting Positions Vertical Tracking Trigger Reset Use of Cover Weapon Hand / Support Hand Firing Drills.

Improving fundamentals to fire faster and gain accuracy:  Tactical magazine changes, Proper drawing and engaging techniques, Strengthening your ability to perform under stressful situations, Showing you how to best use cover and concealment to your advantage, and Instruction on how to deal with multiple threats.
