- 25 years Law Enforcement experience
- 14 years on regional SWAT team, 7 of those years as a Team Leader now currently assigned as Tactical Advisor and Trainer
- Firearms Instructor for 10 years certified in handgun, rifle, and shotgun
- Instructor at Eastern Missouri Police Academy and civilian instructor at Ultimate Defense for the past 7 years
- Instructor in less lethal munitions and building search tactics
