Concealed carry teaches how to shoot and when to shoot. Defensive Handgun 1 teaches advanced firearms pistol craft. Defensive Handgun 2 teaches skills directly related to surviving armed confrontation. Active duty SWAT officers will instruct you on the most current tactics as well as mentally and physically prepare you for self- defense combat.

• A reliable handgun
• Three (3) magazines
• Waistband holster
• 300 rounds of ammo

We will start in the classroom for lesson and discuss skills for the Course of Fire.  Plan to arrive a few minutes early to check in and sign your waivers

• Ammunition: At least 50 rounds (recommend 100 if participating in Pistol Marksmanship)
• Equipment: Bring your pistol, eye and ear protection (all in a suitable range bag) and closed toed shoes.
• Do not handle any firearms until instructed to do so and firearms are to be in COLD (unloaded) condition, with slide locked open or a chamber flag in place.

This LADIES ONLY class is a guided experience that provides you the opportunity to learn how to shoot without any pressure or stress. Our instructors understand that everyone operates at different comfort levels around firearms and will work with you to help you feel relaxed and comfortable as you gain experience. This course covers the 4 major rules of gun safety, gun safety in the home, gun safety at the range and proper shooting technique (grip, stance, posture).

Firearms shot will be a Ruger 22 Mark IV, 5 rounds with a Full-Frame 9mm handgun, and 5 rounds with a Sub-Compact 9mm handgun.  *Note: This is the same course content as First Steps, but this course is designed to be a more relaxed, fun atmosphere for the ladies.
