CRAC is designed to immerse you in multiple reality-based scenarios involving live role players that truly train you to be mentally and physically prepared to deal with real world encounters. There are seven different scenario-based courses available that can be taken in any order. In CRAC Brown, you will be taken through the following scenarios:

· Mall Tuxedo Store ATM

· Gift Card Storefront

· Neighbor's Curling Iron

· Home Invasion 

· Doctor's Office Visit

You will be provided all necessary supplies including state-of-the-art Simunition® equipment. Our Simunition® handguns look and perform exactly the same as a normal handgun (Glock 17) but are engineered to exclusively fire FX® training ammunition. FX® rounds leave a “star” shaped detergent-based water-soluble signature upon impact which taking the guess work out of evaluating round placement. CRAC instructors are police officers, typically active duty or former SWAT, who are use-of-force experts. Learn from the experts how to survive and win an armed force encounter! This course is designed to teach you the proper way to clean and maintain your handgun. We will show you the correct way to field strip, clean, inspect and reassemble your handgun safely. Regular cleaning and care for your firearm will ensure its proper function for years to come. All supplies needed for this class will be provided by Ultimate Defense. Age Requirement: 13 years and older (13-20 must be accompanied by an adult 21 and over). Classes are NON REFUNDABLE, however you may exchange for another class of the same type on a different date if something comes up that prevents you from attending.

FIREARMS TRAINING TO TAKE YOU TO THE NEXT LEVEL

Age Requirements: 18 years and older

Requirements: A reliable handgun, three (3) magazines, waistband holster, 300 rounds of ammo

Course Description: Defensive Handgun is taught by active duty SWAT officers that will elevate your skills with a handgun immeasurably. Learn drills that you can practice that will make you faster and more accurate as well as the most efficient techniques for weapons handling. Tactical Reloading Clearing Malfunction Proper Draw Shooting Positions Vertical Tracking Trigger Reset Use of Cover Weapon Hand / Support Hand Firing Drills.

Improving fundamentals to fire faster and gain accuracy:  Tactical magazine changes, Proper drawing and engaging techniques, Strengthening your ability to perform under stressful situations, Showing you how to best use cover and concealment to your advantage, and Instruction on how to deal with multiple threats.

Classes are NON REFUNDABLE, however you may exchange for another class of the same type on a different date if something comes up that prevents you from attending.

This LADIES ONLY class is a guided experience that provides you the opportunity to learn how to shoot without any pressure or stress. Our instructors understand that everyone operates at different comfort levels around firearms and will work with you to help you feel relaxed and comfortable as you gain experience. This course covers the 4 major rules of gun safety, gun safety in the home, gun safety at the range and proper shooting technique (grip, stance, posture). *Note:  This is the same course content as First Steps, but this course is designed to be a more relaxed, fun atmosphere for the ladies.  Firearms shot will be a Ruger 22 Mark VI ,a revolver, and 5 rounds on a 9mm.  Ammunition, targets, eye & ear protection are provided.  Class size is limited to 16 participants.  Age Requirement: 13 years and older (13-20 must be accompanied by an adult 21 and over). Classes are NON-REFUNDABLE; however, you may exchange for another class of the same type on a different date if something comes up.

Ultimate Defense's Home Defense Building Search Techniques is designed to give you the knowledge, tools and experience to be able to protect yourself and family in the case of a home invasion. This course covers firearms defense options, search parameters (when and why we search), and teaches how to tactically gain the advantage while searching your house. This 3.5 hour course is a combination of lecture and practical exercises where you get to actually conduct searches in Ultimate Defense's shoot house training center. Everything you need for this course will be provided by Ultimate Defense. Age Requirement: 13 years and older (13-20 must be accompanies by an adult 21 and over). Classes are NON-REFUNDABLE; however, you may exchange for another class of the same type on a different date if something comes up.

Let us instruct you on the best and simplest tactics for physically defending yourself. We will teach you SIMPLE techniques that are effective and easy to perform without having to rely on superior strength or undergo hours and hours of training. This course teaches unarmed tactics which include striking with hands, feet, knees and elbows on instructors protected with padding. Each student is taught the PROPER way to deploy mace on an attacker and is given an inert water-based canister to practice with. Taser training is included with footage of real deployments on attackers and suspects. (a Taser is demonstrated using a live cartridge on a dummy target). You will learn: "At Risk” Factors, Attackers Motives and Mental Status, Effective Target Areas, Simple Maneuvers to Escape, Disabling Strikes & Injuries, & Use of Pepper Spray. You must be13 years or older to participate.
